What does the price include?

7 nights, and 8 days at a boutique accommodation; private airport transfer from the airport (specified in the itinerary) to our accommodation; local experts as your hosts for the week; most meals as specified in the itinerary; private tours that include local guides and private transfers to and from each excursion; private tastings; alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as specified in the itinerary; all activities specified in the itinerary; gratuities for local staff (excluding your expert hosts for the week).

What does the price NOT include?

Amble Journeys is not responsible for covering the cost of: airfare; travel insurance; any activities not outlined in the itinerary; any food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages not outlined in the itinerary; gratuity for the tour leaders/experts.

Do you arrange transportation at the beginning and end of the trip?

Yes! You will be greeted at the airport specified in the trip itinerary by one of our tour leaders and taken by private transport to our accommodation. Upon completion of the trip, you will be driven to the same specified airport via private group transfer.

How do you select the accommodation for each trip?

There is a list of requirements that our accommodation must satisfy before we deem it a suitable accommodation option. These include: 

  • Represents the culture of the area we are visiting

  • A private bathroom for each room

  • The ability to accommodate both king/queen-sized beds and twin beds

  • A swimming pool

  • Pleasant ambiance in the outdoor and indoor common spaces where our tastings and meals will be hosted

  • Quality amenities 


How do I make a reservation for a trip?
To make a reservation, please contact our sales team by completing the form on the tour booking page and paying your initial deposit and single supplement, if applicable. Once the form has been submitted and payment is made, a member of our team will be in touch with you to coordinate and finalise your booking. Note: reservations are not final until you receive confirmation from our team that your booking has been completed.

Do you offer discounts for large groups?
Unfortunately, we do not. Due to the highly curated nature of the experiences on our tours, we are not able to offer discounts.

Can you accommodate special needs or requests?
Absolutely! Our goal is to make sure this trip meets your requirements, so please let us know of any special requests when booking your reservation, and we will do our best to accommodate. 

What travel documents are required?

Rules are constantly changing and it is your responsibility to check and fulfill the passport, visa, health and immigration requirements applicable to your itinerary.

Will you provide us with information we need prior to our departure date to ensure we are fully prepared for our trip?
Yes! We will provide you with a pre-departure information pack closer to your trip date. This will include: details on tour meeting place; money requirements; specific reminders about the tour itinerary; local information, like details for taxis and weather; a list of essential and recommended items to pack for the trip; details on the WhatsApp Group that will be set up; and any final actions that may be required to finalise arrangements on the trip. 

Who can I expect on the trip?
Our tours typically host 10 to 12 people per tour, plus the tour leaders and any necessary staff we choose to add to the team for the specific tour. You can expect to be joined by a group of people with diverse backgrounds and interests including solo travellers, couples and groups of friends or family. You must be at least 18 years of age to join.

What is the single traveller supplement?
For single travellers, there will be a single supplement if you choose not to share a room with another guest. All prices quoted are based on double occupancy. Supplements are determined on a trip-by-trip basis. Please refer to the trip-specific FAQs for the single supplement. 

Do I need travel insurance?
Yes, it is a condition of your booking with Amble Journeys.

Are travel insurance and visa assistance included in the trip cost?
No, travel insurance and visa assistance are not included. Travel insurance is a condition of your booking with Amble Journeys.

Who is leading this trip?
All of our trips are led by local experts who are also experienced travel guides and represent Amble Journeys. They will be your go-to resource for any questions or concerns on the trip. Our local leaders are deeply knowledgeable with local cultures, history and traditions.
