Indulge in Elegance: Experience the Sensational Cava Rosa Cusiné from Parés Baltà Winery!
There are people that ask me which is my favourite cava and honestly there isn't a right answer to that question. I am grateful to live in the heart of Penedès, the land where cava was born and heaven for bubble lovers. I truly believe that your decision depends on your mood, who you are sharing it with and what surrounds you in that moment. For that reason, today my intuition brought me to choose this cava for you. Why? Because it is an unusual cava to taste. It is a way to discover how a rose cava can be more than an aperitif sparkling wine. What is more, is how the Mediterranean climate creates extraordinary and complex wines that can age for years.
This rosé cava is based on the grape variety grenache. Normally it is a grape that blended with pinot noir, creates a smooth and gentle wine that is elegant and pleasant to enjoy. However, these grapes of grenache come from a vineyard planted at altitude grown organically and biodynamically and demonstrates all the character that has got in the final result. An extraordinary result after a long aging with the lees over 48 months giving the qualification of a "Gran Reserva".
This kind of sparkling wine, is the one I imagine sharing with people like you. People that love gastronomy, sharing knowledge, funny experiences and learning with the second most important brain of our body and soul: our stomach. Cava is digestive, is perfect to clean our palate after every taste and is the most versatile wine we can have on our tables. I also chose this cava because its name Rosa or Rouse (for you), represents the red flower we give to the people we love in Sant Jordi (Saint George), a cultural tradition that catalans celebrate every 23rd of April. There are many things we can explain about wine, traditional parties and what makes our gastronomic culture so special, but always with a glass in our hands!
